Mike Krisfaluzy

	Mike Krisfaluzy, 81, of DuQuoin, passed away at 10:22 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2000 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in DuQuoin.
	He was a retired coal mine examiner and last worked as a federal mine examiner.  He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in DuQuoin and the UMWA.  He was a US Army veteran of WW II.
	He was born August 23, 1918 at Colp, the son of John and Anna Krisfaluzy.  He married Verna Mae Loucks on October 28, 1946 at Mayfield, KY and she survives.
	He is survived by his wife of DuQuoin; one son, Michael Krisfaluzy and wife Kathy of DuQuoin; one daughter, Lois Cornett and husband John of DuQuoin; two grandsons, Jeremy and Erik Cornett of DuQuoin; three sisters, Mary Venz of GA, Ann Fiss of Royalton and Helen Hines of CA and one brother, Charles Kris of FL.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John.
	Funeral services were Monday, April 3, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in DuQuoin with Msgr. Harry Jerome officiating.
	Friends were able to call from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.  The Rosary was said at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
	Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at DuQuoin.
	Friends may make memorials to the Sacred Heart School.
